Omani Tent Day!
Salaam Walaykoum!
We learned about being welcomed as a guest.
We tried dates, sweet Omani donuts and 'coffee' (juice).
Children were able choose to get an Omani design 'tatoo', henna or
an Omani flag painted on their hand or cheek.
Shukran!
We learned about Omani frankincense, bakhoor and rose water.
We found out how Omani flat bread is made and had a taste.

Finally we waved our Omani flags to the beat of the drums while we enjoyed listening to music.
There was singing and bagpipe playing too!
Our beautiful crew heading back to the classroom.
