Celebrating 100 Days of Kindergarten!
We are 100 Days Smarter after 100 days of learning in Kindergarten!!!
On Tuesday, we celebrated 100 days of Kindergarten by singing, reading, counting and writing. In the morning we made 100 Day Capes and painted 100 sparkles on stars to decorate our capes (10 dots in each of 10 stars). Zero the Hero stopped by for a visit and we sang the "Zero the Hero Number Stomp" with him and counted to 100! We chanted a 100 Days of School poem, did 100 'exercises' and did a few extra "Hip Hip Hoorays" for the Hundredth day. We made a class book in which each child made their own version of a page that says..."I wish I had 100 ____ and I wouldn't want 100 ____". Lots of giggles and fun with that one! Finally, we counted out our 100 pieces of YUM! Then we mixed the 100 treats from everyone all together and had our 100 Days Mix snack.
